Jackson Cook is the winner of the “Desert Rising Star” held at the Fantasy Springs Resort, Indio California. The panel of Celebrity Judges announced the winners out of hundreds of band submissions . Check out his new single “Dead Man Walking”, which was recorded and mixed at Thunder-Underground. Jackson produced and mixed the track with his dad Dale Cook. Our sincerest congratulations!!!

Legendary rockers Nick Oliveri, and Hoss Wright have been finishing up their new full-length release with Harper & Trevor. Nick and Hoss are the coolest, and it’s been a blast working with them. This album is being mastered by Howie Wienberg. It’s going to blow your bind!!!

Pat Jalbuena was recently at Thunder-Underground mixing on the SSL 9048J for an upcoming release by the international rock group Kjwan. Pat was assisted by Adrian Medel who has been interning at Thunder-Underground this past year. The tracks turned out great and Pat is going to be a permanent desert resident. We are excited to see who he brings in next!!!

Sara Groban was just at Thunder-Underground mixing her latest singles with Harper Hug. Sara is currently the top indie singer-songwriter in the desert. She’s a total pro and was a joy to work with! The tracks, which were produced by our friend, Robbie Waldman, feature members of the desert group, War Drum. Irish American Rock Band Friends Of Emmet have been at Thunder-Underground tracking for their upcoming 2012 release. The sessions guided by Guitarist & Producer Tim Boland, included vocalist Mark Leddy, bassist Brian Lynam, guitarist Kieth Geraghty, and drummer Gary Sullivan.

Rachel, Sean, and Jesse have been busy finishing up their first full length CD at Thunder-Underground. This 12 song CD is going to be amazing. Everyone involved has given this project 110%. We can’t wait for you to hear!!!

Core 10’s members Duncan Nisbet (Vocals),Sean Lenhoff (Vocals), Brace Fredericks (Guitar), Brian Milam (Bass), Paul Larson (Drums) and Steve Regennitter ( Guitar) were recently at Thunder-Underground recording and mixing three new tracks Produced by Ronnie King and mixed by Harper Hug, and mastered by Eric Valentine. This band really knows how to rock!!!

Nightmare and the Cat was recently at Thunder-Undeground working on a new EP with Trevor Whatever and Harper Hug. We really enjoyed tracking Sam, Django, Claire, Julie, and Spike at the studio. This is going to be an awesome project that will be mixed and mastered by Eric Valentine!!!

Industry veterans Judy Clapp and Michael Dumas are at Thunder-Underground mixing a classic country album for Heather Ballentine. These guys really know how to make things sound right. It’s been great seeing some real pro’s work!!!

James stopped by to work on a new track. James is a member of the dance group Freemasons from Brighton England. Freemasons are headlining this years White Party in Palm Springs. We hope to see him back in sunny Palm Springs soon!!!
